clare your reply cut off! but i’m going to assume you’re making an argument i’ve also heard that i also agree with, which is, is it really so important for you to casually wield this thing that can and has caused a lot of pain to other people for a joke? and i think the answer is that it’s never really that important, and if you knowingly ignore the massive potential for hurting (not offending, as many assholes like to call it, but hurting) people for the reward of a cheap creative thrill, then you are just an asshole. like i said, i’m still iffy on whether they are ever ok, and i draw a very big line between my own reactions to them and my stance on their general acceptability. i’m not sure they are acceptable, really. look at my lil opinions, in flux and getting all tangled in themselves. hang in there guys! jk don’t really
